Private School Tuition No Longer Out of Reach
Merry Hill, NC (January 6, 2016) – On Tuesday, January 26, Parents for Educational Freedom in North Carolina (PEFNC) is partnering with Lawrence Academy to host a free event in Northeastern North Carolina for parents, grandparents, community members, and private schools interested in learning more about the Opportunity Scholarship Program and the Children with Disabilities Grant.
These programs allow eligible families to receive financial aid through scholarships and grants in order to attend participating private schools.
Kwan Graham, PEFNC’s Director of Parent Advocacy, will present information about the two programs and discuss the benefits of a private school education. Attendees will learn more about the eligibility requirements and the application process.
“The popularity of the Opportunity Scholarship Program and the Children with Disabilities Grant among parents continues to grow. It is my hope that families will look into these valuable programs which can help make educational choice truly available for their children,” said Graham.
